The location of the hotel was fantastic, right by the river and in the center of town. The views were stunning, especially from the garden where I enjoyed a drink overlooking the river. The kitchen had everything we needed, including a dishwasher, microwave, and oven. It was well equipped for cooking meals. The beds were incredibly comfortable and spacious, making it hard to get out of them in the morning. the hotel had a charming, old-fashioned charm that added to the experience.

There were a lot of stairs in the hotel, which might be a challenge for some guests. it would have been nice if there were a few board games available for entertainment.

We had a wonderful stay at a charming 16th-century house by the river. The River Room was tastefully decorated with a superb en-suite bathroom. The central location allowed easy access to all the town amenities. The views over the river Dee were amazing. The self-catering facilities were well equipped, and the locked garage provided peace of mind for our car. we highly recommend this historic house for a few days' getaway.

The breakfast was superb with locally sourced produce. The location was perfect, with lovely views of the river and a picturesque walk along the canal. I highly recommend this hotel.

The location was ideal, right in the center of town with fine views. The room we stayed in was beautifully presented and very clean. The bed was comfortable and the amenities provided were excellent, including hair straighteners. The breakfast was delicious and made to order. The staff were cute, friendly, and helpful throughout our stay. Despite a minor issue with parking, the hotel provided a free permit for the nearby public car park. we highly recommend this self-catering accommodation and would definitely stay here again.

The location of this place was perfect, right in the center and with a beautiful view of the river. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The room we stayed in was amazing, with a jacuzzi bath and a comfortable bed. It was also very clean and well-maintained. The breakfast was delicious and served in a private dining room overlooking the river.

One drawback was the lack of outdoor seating to enjoy the spectacular river view. It would have been nice to have a small garden or patio area.

We loved the warm reception, homely environment, and comfortable room. The historical charm and river view were fantastic. The breakfast was awesome. The building was lovely, with a spacious room and great amenities like a kettle, mini fridge, and tea/coffee provided. The bed was big and comfy. The cleanliness was impressive, not a hair or bit of fluff to be seen. The breakfast was good and the owner was friendly. The room had a beautiful view of the river, a spacious bathroom with a freestanding bath, and ample lighting and mirrors. It had a cozy feel throughout and provided everything we needed, including a wine cooler and large jug of milk for tea & coffee. The staff were really pleasant too.

We felt well taken care of, with no complaints.

The location of the accommodation was absolutely perfect, right in the heart of the town with a stunning view of the river. It was great to be able to explore the town easily without having to travel far. Additionally, the accommodation itself had a nice mixture of traditional and modern elements, which added to the overall charm. The bedroom on the second floor was particularly impressive, with a luxurious jacuzzi bath and a walk-in shower. It was a great way to unwind after a long day.

One aspect that was slightly disappointing was the lack of clear instructions on how to enter the building upon arrival. It would have been helpful to receive detailed directions in advance.

the house was huge and well-equipped, with fantastic installation that kept us warm throughout our stay. the location was great, with the Dee river right at the bottom of the garden. the bedrooms, especially the one on the top floor, were fantastic. We had the suite to ourselves, which felt like a whole cottage. the lady who met us was incredibly helpful and the breakfast provided was excellent. I would definitely stay here again. Cons: Nothing, it was perfect! 😊.

For the price, the room was excellent - full of old-world charm, fine river views, and comfortable beds you won't want to leave. The location was perfect, right in the center of town with easy access to everything. The staff were pleasant and helpful, providing all the amenities you could want, from a hairdryer to chocolates in the room. It was a lovely place to stay for our wedding anniversary.

The breakfast menu could use some improvement, perhaps with a wider variety of options.
